Fall 2011
Heart Hunters Consulting attended The Los Angeles International Textile Show, held Oct. 10–12 at the California Market Center. Exhibitors at the textile show included fabric mills and importers, trim suppliers, and trend forecasters. There were also seminars on free trade. HHC is staying on top of all sourcing updates and innovations; both domestically and off shore. HHC also attended seminars regarding the newest free trade agreements. HHC has become active in building partnerships with groups such as KOTRA to help balance trade with countries like Korea. HHC is beginning to open doors for more export possibilities to Korea from American based manufactures. We will continue to stay updated on all progress with the the newest free trade agreements.

Heart Hunters Consulting is proud to announce that we now have operations in London with full design and product development services. We are able to offer, full conceptual design, flats, tech packs, pattern making, sample making, look books and small and large production lots. We have also opened up production capabilities in Eastern Europe, Bulgaria and Romania. There is free trade between London and these countries. Also with pride we would like to announce that we have the honor to be working with one of the hottest up and coming stylists in Europe, Sasha Rainbow; for cutting edge look books and fashion photography. Sasha is also a freelance fashion editor and art director. President of Heart Hunters consulting, Valerie B Cooper is working continually and selectively to bring the highest standard of services available to her clients.

Heart Hunters Consulting is proud to announce the L1 /Cotton & L1/Tencel knit PFD low minimum open stock program coming this spring. Valerie Copper went to Switzerland In July 2010 to continue the R & D on this wonderful cutting edge green Chemistry process textile. The bamboo fiber comes from Litrax. The yarn is now being spun in Italy with R & D being conducted with spinners in America.
The mill doing the test runs and production is American Fabrics out of Greensboro, NC. This project is a fine blend and balance of green European engineering and American technology.
Fall 2009
As of October 2009 Valerie Cooper has been named to the executive committee of Litrax. Litrax is a Swiss company that is looking to put the ‘green’ back in bamboo. She will continue to run her consulting business as always. Her work with Litrax will only help to offer her clients more possibilities for sustainable manufacturing.
